Service success is based on customers' perceptions. Therefore PFMI's first step is to translate customer expectations into specifications, which are then defined in required labor hours. PFMI management then engineer the required hours to determine how the work will be performed, by whom, when, where and lastly what skills will be needed.

Step 2: Recruitment & Selection
PFMI has refined the hiring process, from recruitment to selection, to ensure motivated, quality-oriented personnel serve our customers' needs. Our Human Resource professionals develop a Recruitment & Selection Plan identifying not only the technical skills needed but also the personal characteristics the customer and job require. All applicants attend a three hour Training & Orientation class. This allows both PFMI and the applicant to evaluate the appropriateness of a match. Our success with this program alone has reduced turnover 35%.

Step 3: Training
PFMI's training and education is proven a competitive advantage. We ensure all employees, supervisors and managers attend monthly training sessions. Topics vary by need and attendees, and are taught by staff, vendors, and outside experts, such as consultants, lawyers, etc. A progressive curriculum keeps PFMI's employees increasing their skills in our on-going training.
